Organizer: Center for the Study of Liberty
The Center for the Study of Liberty is delighted to bring you a live online interview and discussion with Sarah Stewart Holland and Beth Silvers, hosts of the popular podcast "Pantsuit Politics" and authors of I Think You're Wrong (But I'm Listening). "Pantsuit Politics" launched in November 2015 and has since grown into a thriving community of bi-partisan listeners dedicated to the idea that our relationships and values can help us navigate complex and difficult political conversations. As hosts, Sarah Stewart Holland and Beth Silvers commit to "listening to each other first and talking politics second" as they discuss current events, analyze the news, and explore their own ideological differences in their twice-weekly episodes. Together, they've navigated topics ranging from campaign finance reform to immigration, and interviewed politicians and leaders on both sides of the aisle. Sarah and Beth believe there's a better way of talking about politics - a way that elevates nuance and empathy over our need to win arguments and represent our "team." How do we find that better way? What habits can we cultivate in our lives and communities to get us there?
