What’s going on in the world of politics? Why does talking politics so often feel off limits or fraught with danger? How can we get back to the good old days when it was OK to disagree and we could still be friends despite different views?
In this workshop, you'll learn the cause of the political divide and how you can free yourself from the political and media manipulation that has transformed healthy politics into a blood sport. After providing tips and simple techniques for using our brain's amazing powers to make talking across differences easier, we'll break into pairs, explore the concepts we've learned, and practice new skills that we can bring into our next difficult conversations.
There are no prerequisites for this course. All are welcome.
