Gettysburg Revisited

Organizer: Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget/FixUS

How can the lessons of the Battle of Gettysburg inform our understanding of our present circumstances? What parallels exist between today's America and the America that fractured into Civil War? In recognition of the anniversary of the Battle of Gettysburg earlier this month, please join us for a short, 30 minute conversation on these topics with Dr. Matthew Moen, outgoing president of the Gettysburg Foundation. Dr. Moen will reflect on his tenure at the Foundation, including his work leading the Gettysburg Revisited initiative, and explain how FixUS can learn from history's lessons to affect change for a better tomorrow.
