How Business Can Help the 2020 Election: Operation Vote Safe
Organizer:Business for America
As a result of COVD-19, election officials across the country must manage a massive surge in absentee ballots, find new poll workers, secure new in-person polling locations, procure PPE and other challenges. This comes as state revenues are plunging due to reduced economic activity.
In response to the urgent need for additional resources, Business for America is launching the nonpartisan Operation Vote Safe. The national, all-hands-on-deck initiative is mobilizing the private sector to support a safe and secure election by donating PPE, equipment, and related supplies to states and counties. Companies are also being asked to invite employees to serve as poll workers, provide business facilities for polling locations or drop boxes, provide logistics support, assist with public communications and more.
Please join us for a webinar with secretaries of state from California, Pennsylvania and Washington to learn more about how your company can help to ensure a safe election by participating in Operation Vote Safe. We will also hear from Avocado Mattress, Lime, and others about how they're making a difference in the 2020 election.
