Republish Our Work
Our journalism is free to share
The Fulcrum is committed to strengthening democracy by expanding access to fact‑based, nonpartisan reporting. To support that mission, we make most of our original stories available for republication at no cost by news outlets, civic organizations, educators, and community partners who want to help inform the public.
How to republish
You may republish our articles online or in print for free, as long as you follow the guidelines below:
- Give full credit to The Fulcrum as the original publisher.
- Include the author’s byline and keep any internal links within the story.
- Do not edit the story’s meaning, tone, or intent. Minor edits for style or length are fine.
- Add a note at the top or bottom of the story that reads: “This article was originally published by The Fulcrum.”
- Link back to the original article on our website.
- Do not sell our content, place it behind a paywall, or use it for commercial advertising.
- Photographs, illustrations, and graphics are not included unless explicitly stated. Please contact us for image permissions.
What you can’t do
To protect our authors and maintain editorial integrity, please do not:
- Alter the core meaning of the story or misrepresent our reporting.
- Use our work to promote political candidates, campaigns, or partisan messaging.
- Combine our articles with AI‑generated content in a way that obscures authorship or accuracy.
- Repackage large volumes of our work into automated feeds or commercial products.
Why we share our journalism
The Fulcrum exists to help people understand how democracy works—and how it can work better. By allowing others to republish our reporting, we aim to broaden access to trustworthy information, strengthen civic dialogue, and support communities working toward a more responsive and inclusive democracy.
