Learning Circle: The Basics of Engaging Your People Online

Organizer: National Conference on Citizenship

The world of online organizing and digital engagement can feel overwhelming and disconnected from the real world challenges you're facing. Leaders throughout our network need simple and clear support for digital engagement using widely available tools that they can put to use now.

This Learning Circle is hosted by NCoC's CEO Nicco Mele - the author "The End of Big: How The Digital Revolution Makes David The New Goliath" and the former director of the Shorenstein Center on Media, Politics, and Public Policy at Harvard University. It will be facilitated by Clarissa Unger - the director of the Students Learn Students Vote Coalition at NCoC. The SLSV Coalition is the largest network of leaders in the country devoted to achieving full political participation among college students with a reach of more than 1,700 colleges and universities. The idea for this Learning Circle emerged from their work helping 14 statewide student voting networks from across the country shift their spring summits online.
